Physician Education The Endocrine Institute conducts medical education seminars across the United States. The majority of our courses and seminars focus on the optimal management of diabetes mellitus for primary care health professionals (physicians, nurses, educators). These seminars include educational materials, written examinations (as a learning tool), didactic lectures, as well as an opportunity for participants to present their problematic cases for discussion. |

The content emphasizes the practical management of patients with diabetes.
Medical issues relating to the special medical needs, diagnosis and
treatment of minority diabetics are discussed in depth. New concepts
and basic pathophysiology are taught within the context of clinical
implications and applications. Our curriculum approach is totally comprehensive and is meant to have a meaningful educational impact. The Institute's seminars are serious intellectual undertakings, which are presented in such a way that the health care professional comes away feeling confident in his or her ability to manage their diabetic patients. Continuing medical education credits are awarded to all participating physicians. Target audiences:
